When I was transferred to a new city for my job I wasn’t sure how I was going to meet new people. My job is very demanding and honestly during my off time the last thing I want to do is go to a club and try to yell out a conversation over the music with some slick want to be Casanova.
As a busy professional, my time is premium. So many Saturday nights wasted politely listening to some boring guy from work ramble on and on while all I can think about is wishing I was at home with a good book and my cat was getting to me. Really, I just wanted to get laid. But inter-office romances are never a good idea. Online dating wasn’t my cup of tea either. I spend enough time on the computer as it is.
